London Photo Festival - Architecture / Street Photography exhbition
20th April 2015 - 0 comments
I have submitted a last minute entry into this May's London Photo Festival. The theme if you don't know is 'Architecture'. However the LPF organisers have decided entries with a street photography architectural element are also welcome. So I rummaged through my portfolio to see if I had anything suitable and found this geometrical, architecture street image which they approved. So had it blown up to A2 (approx 70 x 50cm) on metallic print.

Got it back from the printers today and framed it up ready to go! If you want to get your hands on a print early, you can order one from my Etsy shop!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the architecture themed images at the exhibition at The Crypt gallery between 13th - 16th May 2015.

If you are part of my We Shoot People - street photography Meetup group, I have created a Meetup event if you fancy joining a few of us there.

I was invited to the launch night for London Photo Festival, at The Crypt Gallery, which sits in the heart of London Bridge. If you are in town this week, put in and have a browse, its free entry for the public and all prints on display are on sale. The London Photo Festival runs until 18th October 2014.

In the meantime, check out the London Photo Festival website for further details.

We Shoot People Group at the London Photo Festival

In collaboration with the London Photo Festival, I hosted a We Shoot People - Street Photography Group walk in and around London Bridge / Borough Market. Followed by a social networking night at the Click N' Clique evening at LPF later that evening. We extended the evening for more socialising at the Blue Eyed Maid pub in London Bridge. Thanks to the landlord for his hospitality!

All in all, a very successful and busy night for both new and regular members of the group to interact, discuss and exchange ideas on all things street photography.
