Seen in London .....Primrose Hill Snow 2018

02nd March 2018

Earlier in the week when the snow was fresh, I decided to venture over to Primrose Hill, in NW London and get some photos and video footage. It felt like I was late for the party as it looked like most of the locals had taken the day of work and school to play in the snow!

Within 5 mins of arriving at Primrose Hill, I could not feel my fingers or my toes. It was pretty painful, but I didn't want to go home. Only problem when its so cold that you have no sensation in your fingers AND you're wearing gloves, is that it is impossible to work your camera!! I wasn't sure if I was even pressing the shutter button at times, so keep trying several times until I think I did!

Luckily I had my iPhone with me which was easier to work in the below zero freezing conditions. Though at one point I thought its battery had died from the cold, after a while of taking some photos and video, as it wouldn't turn on. Only to find when I was back on a bus home decided to come back on with 41% battery life still remaining! Arghh!!

After about an hour and a half, I decided it was time to go home and warm up before hypothermia set in and my fingers fell off! As much as snow in London is beautiful to look at and great to take photos of, I am very much looking forward to the Spring and some warm weather!
